BINGE EATING: 2 YEARS AGO
I really want cereal but it has too many carbs and lots of sugar. *Eats eggs and avocado instead* Still wants cereal. Avoids it for as long as possible. Eats toast. Feels guilty. Finally eats cereal. Has 3 bowls and feels terrible.
BINGE EATING RECOVERY: NOW
I really want cereal. Let me have a bowl (let’s be real, 2 bowls because YUM) and enjoy it. *Learns from the past* Feels amazing for honoring my wants and not binge eating or restricting.
